ABOUT V-PHONE

A broad mind embraces the world; a lofty mountain stands tall above all others.

Social Responsibility

Empowering the digital future with green circularity

In today's rapidly developing digital economy, communication equipment, as the "infrastructure" for information transmission, is undergoing accelerated updates and iterations. However, a large number of communication devices that still have use value are being phased out due to reasons such as technological upgrades and enterprise expansion. If these devices are discarded directly, they will not only cause electronic waste pollution and resource waste, but may also exacerbate the digital divide - many small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as institutions in remote areas, find it difficult to obtain reliable communication equipment due to cost constraints.

As a participant in the second-hand communication equipment industry, V-PHONE deeply recognizes that our responsibility is not only to "buy and sell equipment", but also to connect resource conservation and digital inclusivity through "recycling". While promoting sustainable development in the industry, we strive to create broader value for society. With "green recycling, digital empowerment, and shared responsibility" as our core values, we integrate social responsibility into every aspect of procurement, inspection, sales, and service, and strive to become a "promoter of circular economy" and "promoter of digital equity" in the field of communication equipment.

1. Responsibility concept: Make every device "fully utilized"

V-PHONE's perspective on social responsibility is grounded in its insight into two major pain points in the communication industry:

Resource and environmental aspects: Communication equipment contains various materials such as metals (such as copper and silver) and plastics. If disposed of improperly (such as simple incineration or landfill), it can release toxic substances that pollute soil and water sources, and metal extraction requires a large amount of energy;
Social and economic aspects: There are still many remote areas around the world where schools/clinics lack basic communication networks. Due to the high cost of purchasing new equipment, it is difficult to upgrade digital tools. However, the reasonable circulation of second-hand equipment can significantly lower the threshold for digital access.
Based on this, we have established three core responsibility principles:

"Circular Carbon Reduction": Through professional inspection and maintenance, we extend the service life of equipment, thereby reducing the generation of electronic waste and the resource consumption associated with the production of new equipment;
"Digital Inclusion": Providing customers with reliable communication solutions through cost-effective second-hand equipment, helping to bridge the "digital divide";
"Integrity and transparency": Strictly control equipment sources (refusing illegally refurbished/smuggled equipment), testing standards, and after-sales guarantees, ensuring customers can "buy with confidence and use with peace of mind".

II. Responsibility Practice: Safeguarding the "Green Homeland" Across the Entire Chain

With "full lifecycle management" as our core principle, we have established a green chain that spans "recycling - inspection - repair - reuse":

Source control: Strictly screen recycling channels (high-quality corporate customers, decommissioned equipment from operators, government scrapped asset projects), reject equipment from unknown sources or illegally smuggled equipment, and ensure that every device entering circulation meets environmental and safety standards;
Professional testing: Establish a professional testing team equipped with professional testing equipment to conduct functional testing on recycled products (including appearance integrity, hardware wear and tear, software compatibility, etc.);
Environmental maintenance: Adopt the principle of "repair instead of replacement" (prioritizing repair over direct replacement of parts), and use environmentally friendly materials (such as lead-free solder and degradable packaging) for shell repair and cleaning.

III. Responsible Achievements and Future Commitments

(1) Quantifiable social value
Environmental aspect: Over the past decade, we have reduced electronic waste by 1,500 tons and decreased carbon emissions by approximately 3,000 tons;
Economic aspect: It has saved small and medium-sized enterprises over 5 billion yuan in communication equipment procurement costs and helped over 100 enterprises achieve digital transformation at low cost;
At the social level: Through donations and low-cost equipment, over 10,000 students and residents in remote areas have benefited, and over 300 villages have been connected to the Internet.

(II) Future responsibility direction
Technological upgrading: Increase R&D investment in environmental protection testing and maintenance technology (such as AI intelligent detection equipment for faults, and development of modular equipment that can be recycled), to extend the average service life of individual equipment further;
Standard leadership: Revise standards every 2 years, continuously incorporate new technologies, improve testing indicators, and establish brand trust through "high standards";
Digital inclusivity: Focusing on the digital needs of the elderly and disabled (such as providing age-friendly communication devices and barrier-free operation training), so that technological progress can benefit everyone.

At V-PHONE, we firmly believe that the value of second-hand communication equipment lies not only in its inherent functionality, but also in the circular philosophy and social responsibility it embodies. We will continue to safeguard the Earth's resources through "green circulation" and connect more possibilities through "digital inclusivity" - because the "rebirth" of every device represents our commitment to a sustainable future.

Let us join hands to make communication technology more humane and the digital world more equitable!
